Privacy and security are crucial. To maintain the confidentiality of your documents, we do not have access to them. However, you can retrieve your faxes by downloading your account history anytime. This option allows you to access your past faxes while keeping them safe and secure on your device. If you upload or scan a document but do not complete the faxing process, the document will not be stored. For example:
Uploaded Documents: If you upload a document but never send it, you will need to re-upload the document to proceed with faxing. The app does not retain these files.
Scanned Documents: If you scan a document and close the app before attaching it to a fax and sending it, the scan will not be saved locally or on the app's servers.
Best Practices for Document Management
To avoid losing important documents, follow these best practices:
Save Locally: Before closing the app, save scanned documents to your device to ensure they are not lost.
Complete the Faxing Process: Always complete and send your fax before exiting the app.
Re-upload When Necessary: If a document was not sent and is no longer available, re-upload it to the app to proceed with faxing.
It's important to note that if you delete your account, you cannot recover any sent faxes. So, we'd suggest you download your account history before deleting your account to make sure you have a copy of your past faxes.
Additionally, unsent documents, whether uploaded or scanned, are not recoverable. Ensure you complete the faxing process or save your documents locally before exiting the app.
