Fax receiving; rent a number

Updated over a week ago

To receive faxes using the Fax app, you’ll need an active subscription [You can find help with the subscription process in this Article]. Once subscribed, you can rent a dedicated fax number that allows unlimited fax receiving from anywhere in the world 🌎

How to Rent a Fax Number

A fax number isn’t assigned automatically after subscribing because you can choose your preferred area code. There’s no additional charge for number rental - it’s already included in your subscription.

  1. Go to the Inbox tab.

  2. Select your preferred number from the available list.

  3. Make sure the selected number appears at the top of the screen.

  4. Confirm your selection.

Once rented, your fax number is immediately active and ready to receive faxes. You can view or check your rented fax number anytime from the Inbox tab.

⚠️ Please note: system numbers used for sending faxes cannot receive incoming faxes. To receive faxes, you must rent your own dedicated number.

Receiving Faxes

The Fax app supports receiving faxes from: traditional physical fax machines and digital fax services.

Delivery time may vary depending on the document size. For reference, a 10-page fax usually arrives in under 5 minutes, while larger documents may take longer.
