At the Fax app, we assure you that all payment stages are controlled by the platform you purchased our app from — App Store or Google Play. We do not directly manage the payment process. Therefore, Apple and Google guarantee security and hassle-free subscription management.
Apple and Google don’t typically charge for two weeks of service or purchases in one day, but there are a few scenarios where you might see what feels like multiple charges at once:
1. Delayed Billing
Sometimes, charges to your account can be delayed, especially if there were pending authorizations or issues with your payment method. When the payment finally processes, multiple charges could appear on the same day.
2. Payment Method Update
If you update or change your payment method, Apple/Google might reattempt failed or pending charges all at once.
3. Preauthorization Holds
Apple may place preauthorization holds when you make purchases, but the actual charge might appear later. When the hold is lifted and the charge goes through, it could seem like multiple charges happened on the same day.
If you've been charged twice for our app, please follow the instructions below for further assistance.
iOS
We kindly request you to check if the charges are definitely from our Fax app. If you are sure they are, please provide us with a receipt from Apple, so we can investigate the issue further. The receipt can be found in the email that is linked to your Apple ID.
❗Please note that the typical bank statement does not show the initiator of the payment, so this document will not be suitable for solving the issue.
